Well folks, it seems that the overall buzz on this movie is goodgoodgood. Rotten Tomatoes one of the premier critic sites online have cited this movie as one of the BIG contenders for Blockbuster of the year even going as far as to say Oscar buzz for special effects.
The critics on the site itself seem quit amped for the film listing it as one of the most anticipated movies to still come out.
All over the intenet this movie is garnering more and more attention, the majority of people want to see it and the rest simply take things such as historical context and possible religious issues too far so they dont really matter. This will be a movie for entertainments sake not a history lesson and as more and more info is coming out on this movie more people are getting wise to this movie.
I must commend the directos and produers they havent yet started hyping the cast, a bold but good move in my opinion, it keeps the focus on the movie and thus keeps criticism of using a archetypal "pretty young hollywood cast" at bay.
Cant wait for this movie...whoohooo! ;D

Totatlly awesome, I gotta go check out RT now.
"the rest simply take things such as historical context and possible religious issues too far so they dont really matter"
lol, you'll find me defending the movie on the imdb message boards against those people... mainly pointing out the fact that even though I'm an anthro major with a minor in ancient history, I'm still totally geeked and it should be taken as entertainment, not a documentary.
I think more people need to look at it that way, too.

Exactly...when I watch Spiderman, i think "Cool comic book concept, nice effects and my golly is James Franco hot", i dont think, "Geez, man bittten by freaky spider, a bit unrealistic, possibly blasphemous so i wont watch it."
Chill out people.

Exactly Magpie. I am so excited for 10,000 B.C. that I can't even describe it. My family thinks I am beyond psychotic and they don't see why I can't wait. Oh Well...Their loss I guess!!!

More members equals more eyes about. That means more pictures and more articles and more news.
Sadly, it also means more paparazzi and rumors, too.
And thinking about it... It is only 3 months and 7 days until 10KBC comes out. How exciting!

totally awesome about the "to watch" list!
I'm expecting him to see him and the movie featured in mags a lot more soon.
My soon-to-be mother in law, whom I live with, always gets the tabloids, People Magazine, Reader's Digest, all that stuff, so I'll keep looking to see if there is anything with him in it!
