(*found this article and a certain movie title kinda grabbed my attention.*) n the growing and seemingly conuous list of comic book heroes being adapted for the big screen, the one currently drawing a multitude of Hollywood's young generation is Justice League of America. According to The Hollywood Reporter, director George Miller flew into Los Angeles over the weekend for a marathon casting session. Among the faces that have shown up at the auditions are stars from The O.C., Running with Scissors, Windfall, Grindhouse, [glow=red,2,300]Sky High[/glow], Wolf Creek, Jumper and Friday Night Lights. The NBC sophomore football drama is well represented with three cast members vying for some of the superhero roles being cast for the movie. Minka Kelly (Lyla Garrity), Adrianne Palicki (Tyra Collete) and Scott Porter (Jason Street) of Friday Night Lights were among the Young Hollywood stars that Miller saw Sunday and Monday. All in all, the Australian director tested between 35-40 young actors for the roles of Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter. Miller is reportedly deliberate about his choice for calling only younger people for his film because he wants the actors to grow into their roles over the course of several movies. It can be noted that many comic book adaptations often do spawn sequels as was the case for Spiderman and X-Men. The weekend screen tests were taped while the actors read lines off script pages and no costumes were employed yet. Aside from finding the right people to fill in his Justice League superhero shoes and suits, Miller was also said to be keen on the interaction among the actors and their chemistry as part of a group. Prior to Justice League of America, Miller had also helmed Mel Gibson in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and more recently, Babe: Pig in the City and the animated feature, Happy Feet. Whether any of the Friday Night Lights stalwarts will have the chance to don any Justice League tights remains to be seen. Miller is scheduled to announce the results of the auditions sometime this week. -ROsario Santiago *now it might refer to someone else but what if it isnt?

Well, keep looking and I too will try to find some info. But I bet it's not taling about Steven. It seems to me that the kid that played Will Stronghold would be more likely to try out for something like that. But we can always dream can't we!

Here you go, two articles that kind of go in sync with yours. It's not him.
"George Miller is knee deep into the casting process of Justice League of America. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller is looking to cast between thirty-five to forty roles. The main characters include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Green Lantern and the Martian Manhunter.
The film is being produced by Warner Brothers. Those that have been included in the casting sessions are Adam Brody, Joseph Cross, D.J. Cotrona, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Michael Angarano, Teresa Palmer, Max Thieriot, and rapper Common.
Minka Kelly, Adrianne Palicki and Scott Porter, all cast members on NBC's Friday Night Lights, have tested as well.
Who will Miller choose? The director is scheduled to make a casting announcement later this week."
and....
"It's hard to imagine that casting speculation has ever been as great for any character as it has been for the role of Wonder Woman in George Miller's Justice League of America.
Previously, we reported that Teresa Palmer had won the role, but that no longer seems to be set in stone.
Australia's Daily Telegraph reports that runway model Megan Gale (Stealth) has been short-listed for the role originally rumored to belong to Jessica Bale. The Daily Telegraph further says that Gale has been spotted paying visits to Fox Studios in recent weeks, which is where the film is to be shot.
Meanwhile, May Elizabeth Winstead (Live Free or Die Hard, Grindhouse) tells MTV News that she remains hopeful about her chances for being cast, even going so far as to consider what sort of personal training she might need for the role. "I was so excited [to audition]. It would be the biggest honor in the world to play an icon like that," she enthused. "We'll see. I keep thinking about all of the physical training I could do, bulking up and getting some muscles. I've never seen myself like that before!"
Numerous other actresses have also been suggested for the role, including Shannyn Sossamon and Christina Milan. Winstead comments "It's funny because I didn't really see anybody else [auditioning] when I went in, so I was learning along with everyone else all the different names," she confessed. "It was fun to go on the message boards and see what people were saying, speculating on the rumors. I know they'll make the right choice, and whoever it is will be great, I'm sure."
Interestingly, Winstead has a previous Wonder Woman connection. She acted opposite the original Wonder Woman of TV, Lynda Carter, in the 2005 Disney film Sky High."

Hes still my Superman regardless... and i wanted to add that i saw 'Finding Nemo' yesterday on Disney... and also i wanted to say if u guys had noticed on the previews of the movie 'Beowulf' that it was computerized? to me thats pretty cool and the actors really dont have to actually do the acts themselves just the voices, i thot was pretty cool but what if they start getting rid of actors and they might think that using computers would be cheaper and easier and what if they start slowly declining actors roles??? what if they go out of a job? i like the idea of it but not the whole layout of the comp. thing... im sure there will be skeptics about it and will want to see the actual actors instead of computerized versions of them, but i was just thinking and wondering where it could lead...? computers are pretty much taking over the world, so to speak! what do u guys think about this???

Huh? I said up in my first post on this topic that I thought the kid that played Will in Sky High would be the one to try out, not Steven. And then I saw his name in one of the articles you posted and I was just clarifying who I meant in the earlier post. Is that what you were talking about, Becky?

Ok.... time for a guy's perspective. There are very few "Traditional" superhero roles I can picture Steven playing. That was why Warren Peace worked so well for him. It was a complete break-away from any traditional hero roles. And, honestly, the one that would probably fit him the best (in Justice League) would be Batman. After seeing him in Undiscovered (yes this is a reference to the ink blot on his career) He can pull off the broody type perfectly. And that was the way Batman was. Of course, I don't remember that much about most of the Justice League besides the big 3. Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman. Of course... it would be interesting to possibly see him in the role of one of the Villians... That would probably be the one thing that could make you ladies root for the bad guy, yes? Just a thought...
