I didn't know they owned part of the theatre either. I'm hoping to be able to go and get some pics of him, but I actually called Grauman's and they said I won't even see him. They said he's really private and will come in a back door to avoid all the hype, but the way I see it...he has to be out front. He's the star of the movie, I don't see that he'd really be able to not at least make a few statements to the media and at least be seen a little. I mean, most of the people out there will be waiting to see the star and I don't think he'd disappoint...Maybe that's just my wishful thinking, but hey...I'm still gonna try to see him!

There's also going to be a premiere in Spain and Steven is coming (he, Camilla, the director and the producer), but it is going to be sooner, it is next Thursday (here's a link to a Warner Bros newsletter, wwws.warnerbros.es/newsletters/10000bc/ it's in Spanish, but it includes the details about the premiere, in case anyone is interested). I won't be able to go , but I hope that they will show some of it on TV. If they're going to the UK and Spain maybe there will be premieres in more countries, do you know anything about that? Because that would mean more pictures, interviews, etc Anyway, good luck to those of you who are going!

That's a good question and I would say there will be more premieres. They are making a big deal about the movie in at least 14 countries, so I would think they would have premieres in a couple of them...

Lucky Steven gets to do all of that travelling.
Or maybe unlucky, its sure to take a toll on him. This is probably the first one that he's been in that has been made so big internationally.
He needs to do some nice, cool, calm indie work.

Maybe, but his career is starting to really take off and doing some obscure indie flick could actually hurt his career if he does one at this point. I kind of think he needs to establish himself more before he does something like that...Maybe that's just me though. Imean it would suck to work so hard and then lose your growing mainstream status because you chose to do something less...flashy (not quite the word I was looking for, but I can't think of the one I wanted).

I don't think so. An indies movie would be perfect for his career. Generally indie movies are regarded as better quality than money-making Hollywood flicks. Nearly all the "Best Picture" actor, actress, etc awards for the past few years have gone to indie movies and actors.
If he wanted more popularity, sure go with the big budget Hollywood movie.
But if he wants to be taken seriously after so many 13-25 year old oriented special effects movies, he needs to look outside of H-wood.

You're right, I definitely think Indie films are MUCH better than the mainstream stuff they put in theatres. I don't think he's looking for popularity...and I think he wants to be taken seriously, but I can see where he would want to be careful about taking an Indie film too early in his career in case it "wipes him off the map" for lack of a better phrase. He doesn't want to lose the status he has gained. There are a few cases where an actor takes an Indie film too early in their career and you never hear from them again. To me it just seems like a pretty big risk at the moment when he is gaining status and popularity as an A-lister.
