I think they had an option to do Sky High as a Disney series-they didn't pick it up though. With The Covenant as a series-I dunno, it seems to me it would get kitschey and repetitive really quick-look at Charmed, it's like they've run out of original storylines to run. =/

I read somewhere, (i dont remember where, i'll look for it) that they were going to do a sequel, but the movie wasn't popular enough.
I hope they do it though.
That was one good looking cast<3

I also heard they thought about making Sky High into a TV series, but that Disney didn't think it would be popular enough. I did hear though that the child actors in that film signed a contract that they would be apart of the sequel if one was made, but Steven was 19 when he made that movie and so I'm not sure if he would have been apart of the contracts. Anyway back to the Covenant...While it would be awesome to be able to watch Steven every week in a new episode, I don't think it would be all that great of a series, it would just get really repetitive. But I did hear that the producers of the movie (or something like that) were at comic con this year and that they did say Sony was working on maybe filming a sequel. But who knows how true that is, because I couldn't find any other info on that topic, but hopefully it's true.

i guess well have to wait and see, i wish some people just knew what they were doing for once and either say 'YES' or 'NO' instead of making us run around like a chicken without a head!!!

I doubt that we will be getting another Covenant movie...all you have to do is check the different actors schedules...Toby is getting busier by the day, as is Taylor who is busy with an upcoming movie as well as doing FNL, Chace is doing GOssip Girl and we all know how busy Steven is going to be withing the next few months.

Yeah, but you never know, actors make time for a lot of things that we would never think there was time for!

I agree with loulou, actors do have time to do things but i think they use that time for themselves for vacations and what not rather than movies, its like choosing 'Work' or 'Vacation' hmmm lol

If they do it. I want the original cast back. I will not accept anything other then the original. As well as a better storyline. The covenant personally would have made a better mini-series or TV show then a movie. But that is my thought. Live in honor. Blessed be. I can concurr!! = ]]] I'm like that with EVERY film that has a sequel...a sequel with the ORIGINAL cast is the ONLY one I'll watch....NOTHING else would make me HAPPIER! ANd it WOULD make a GREAT TV series!

My Stepdad pointed something out to me the other night we were watching the covenant. He asked me that after the fight with caleb and chase and he said I think Chase is still alive. And I begged to differ, then it got me thinking that it could be true due to the fact that Chase's body wasn't found after Caleb winning. the barn was burnt down to a crisp. and sarah was saved, but chase's body wasn't found. So my stepdad said that to me and got me thinking.

They were leaving it open for a sequel if it did well in the theaters. It didn't, so really, no sequel. Even in the creators want to, there is no one willing to fund it.
Let's start up a collection.

geez thats gonna have to be big tho... to be able to pay for it all, its not like its cheap to make a movie... how long do u guys figure we will take to collect it??? we have to find out first how much it might be, how much was the first one for??? we can estimate from there...
