So, I'm a huge fan of the Twilight series and I know Stephenie Meyer wants Steven to play Jacob Black.
Well, that begs the question...what ethnicity is Steven?

I've only heard Italian... look in the Steven News and Updates forum for an entire post about this.

Well, I read somewhere he's part Italian though he doesn't speak the language.

I've only ever heard that he is part Italian too. Too bad we can't find out more about that, but I think the whole privacy thing probably comes into effect a lot with that question. Although, I do think he would make a GREAT Jacob Black because, to me at least, he could kind of pass for Native American.

Yup agreeing with you. Strangely though I have recently come to the conclusion that Twilight might be more succesful as a TV show or mini-series at least. It's probably just a fleeting idea from my side but you never know.

Great idea magpie. I never even thought of that, but then you get into the whole where do you stop a show to lead into another and and what if the characters want to change some aspect of themselves (like their hair style or color) when filming goes in hiatus. I think that would definitely mess up the story line. But I do like the idea of prolonging twilight by making it into a tv show or miniseries

Caucasian is white though-and Italian IS caucasian isn't it? So it's not really an answer, since Italians definitely aren't Black, asian or hispanic.

Exactly what she said^^^ Italian is a nationality, Caucasian is a race/ethnicity. So if anything, I'd say we know part of his nationality is Italian and American, but other than that we have no clue about his ethnicity.
