Okay, I'm curious what people who are interested in going think about this. Would you rather:
A) Just go and see '10,000 B.C.' in theaters and watch Steven DVDs in the room for other Steven entertainment B) Go see *both* '10,000 B.C.' *&* 'Stop Loss' in theaters (if playing at said theater, showings pending, of course) and only watch other Steven flicks in room if time permits
Personally I kinda like option A because it's apparent Steven's role in 'SL' is so little, it might seem like a better use of our short time to hang out if we watch Steven in roles he's more prevalent in (like 'Sky High' or 'The Covenant').
Thoughts..?

Well, if we choose option A, we can also move the date more freely. If we do move it earlier: 1. It will be colder in the Windy City, and 2. We'll need a final head count a little earlier. And honestly, I'm fine with option A.
I'll need to know ASAP so I can make adjustments to the suite as needed.
I've been contemplating starting a Meetup.com group for this. It'll let us organize better and sort out links, info, etc. Only problem being that it would lead off of this site and since its for the people of the forum, I'm not so sure if its wise. Thoughts?

I'd say for the time being to stick with posting the info on the forum...at least until we get the final headcount figured out.
I thought the earliest we could get a suite was the first weekend of April? Is that not the case? We could get one earlier?

Nevermind about Meetup.com, they raised the price and I can't afford it. Referring to a previous post of mine: Of the following, what night would you prefer: - March 7 - 8 (TTBC only)
- March 8 - 9 (TTBC only)
- March 14 - 15 (TTBC only)
- March 15 - 16 (TTBC only)
- March 21 - 22 (TTBC only)
- March 22 - 23 (TTBC only)
- April 4 - 5 (TTBC & Stop Loss)
If we see only TTBC, there are more dates available.

I PMed Ondra about this since she was going to try and make it and was one of the only other sure bets for this thus far. We're really easy, any of those times work for Paladin and I, but let's get some other feedback- time to speak up if interested, people!!!!

Yes, yes. Anyone interested in going, please, I need to know what day would be best for you! Hotel rooms go pretty fast around Spring Break time.

Well for me anytime after the first weekend in March is fine. So that's the first two sets of dates listed...

I would love to do this. I need a break at any rate. though I would have to get back to you about it. Also how do we all feel about a 12 year old tagging along. I would have to bring my daughter. She loves Steven too, not the way we do but she likes his characters.
We'd take the train from Michigan too. Jackson. Amtrak is much cheaper then driving right now.
Live in honor.
Blessed be.

Personally I think we should keep our original date of the first weekend in April. If we do it in March, there's always the possibility that bad weather will affect the driving conditions that we'll be driving to Chicago in. We'd rather not have to worry about that being a possibility.
And Arashi, I think it would be a-ok for you to bring your daughter alone! Heck, you gals are okay with a man tagging along, why not make it a family affair? LoL
So excited about this!!!

I wouldn't mind your daughter being there at all!
Perhaps it would be better to stick to the original weekend. We wouldn't have to worry about switching the day for the suite, and we can decide on the movies we watch when the time gets closer.
I'd really like to focus on taking names for the confirmed list.

I'm currently deleting inactive members of the forum. When I'm done I will send out an email to all members alerting this to them. We do need a rough confirmation idea soon, I agree, Stefie.

I agree with keeping the original date for the trip...we already have a room, so I think focusing on getting a confirmed number of people would be best.
