I sat in the theater last night...ready to finally see '10,000 B.C.' and realized outloud that I run the largest Steven site on the 'net and have known about this movie for *how* long, and this is the first chance I'm getting to see it?! *smacks self* BAD ME!! It was good. Not *entirely* what I expected, I was expecting a little more of a "grand-scale epic" the likes of 'Independence Day' and 'A Day After Tomorrow', but the movie was slightly more subtle in plot. I liked it a lot, it was a shift I wasn't expecting. Of course, Steven was fantastic, so was Camilla. I adored the acting, but thought some of the lines could have used some doctoring. The effects were pretty good and the movie kept you interested from beginning to end. Well worth the ticket price, and it will be an addition to my DVD collection when it's released, for sure. All in all, two thumbs up- just as I anticipated

Oh Ellie...I was beginning to wonder if you had fallen off the face of the planet....I'm so glad you were FINALLY able to see it! I know one of my biggest fears before I went to see it was that I had gotten myself so excited for the movie and that after seeing it I would be completely disappointed. It was great however and I ever converted my parents and grandmother into Steven "likers"...They don't love him yet, but they have seen him and agree that he is a great actor and in the case of my mom and grandma extremely good looking. My sister however, still refuses to see the movie with me even though I ask her to every time I think we might go to the movies. But never fear when I get the DVD, I am going to hog tie her to a chair and force her to watch his amazingness!!!
